BEREAVEMENT

 

The Leader and Cabinet wished to pass on condolences on behalf of the Council to the family of Alan Powell, Communications Officer following his sad passing. The Leader added that Alan was a much-valued colleague and will be missed by colleagues and elected members.

 

A minute’s silence was undertaken as a mark of respect

To consider the joint report of the Corporate Director Corporate Services and Chief Officer Commercial and Customer.

 

RESOLVED that the report be accepted and Option 1 was agreed as follows:-

 

·       the transfer of digital services as part of a phase 1 approach into the SRS as soon as practicable within this financial year and no later than April 2026;

 

·       data, information governance and information security services transferring as part of future phases of the proposal, subject to a positive business case; and

 

·       the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) to be applied to those staff identified to be in scope for this project.
