Upon a vote being taken, it was unanimously

FURTHER RESOLVED that the report be accepted and Option 1 be endorsed namely; to support an inflationary increase in line with MTFS assumptions or full-cost recovery calculations (whichever is the lowest) on all locally set fees covered in this report, as shown in Appendix 1 for 24/25, 25/26 and 26/27. Responses received to the consultation with the trade would be considered by the Corporate Director who would determine final decisions in accordance with the Constitution.

Verbal Update on Review of Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Licence

To consider verbal update from the Solicitor.

Minutes:

Having regard to the views expressed by the Proper Officer regarding the public interest test, that on balance the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information and that the report should be exempt.

RESOLVED that the public be excluded whilst this item of business is transacted as it is likely there would be a disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 12 & 17, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Consideration was given to the verbal update by the Solicitor.

RESOLVED that the verbal update which contained information relating to a particular individual be accepted and the information be noted.
