The Committee AGREED that future meetings would be held at 10.00 a.m. with a pre-meeting at 9.30 a.m.

To consider the decisions of the Corporate and Performance Scrutiny Committee held on 25^th April, 2024.

The Committee AGREED the decisions be accepted as a true record of proceedings.

To consider the joint report of the Head of Governance, Partnerships & Democratic Services and Service Manager: Policy & Partnerships.

Consideration was given to the Joint report of the Head of Governance, Partnerships & Democratic Services and Service Manager – Policy & Partnerships.

A Member proposed that meetings be held later in day for a trial period to encourage members of the public to view council meetings. It was further proposed that a working group be established to ascertain how the public would like to see the Council engaging in communities.

The proposals were seconded, and 

The Committee AGREED that the report be accepted and made recommendations prior to consideration for approval at Council (Option 2), as follows:-

(a)           meetings be held later in day for a trial period; and

(b)           a working group be established to ascertain on how the public would like to see the Council engaging in communities.

Consideration was given to the report of the Head of Organisational Development.

The Committee AGREED that the report be accepted and supported the Menstruation/Menopause Policy to progress to Council for endorsement (Option 1).

The Committee AGREED that the report be accepted and submit the draft Welsh Language Annual Report 2023/24 to Cabinet for continued monitoring (Option 1).
