4.

Areas for Member Briefings and Training

To discuss any areas for members briefings and training.

Minutes:

The Service Manager Development & Estates informed Members that the Member Briefing on Phosphates would be held on 30th November, 2022.

 

The Service Manager advised Members that a number of Developments of National Significance (DNS) applications for wind turbines had been received and due to the timescales for submission of the Local Impact Report he requested that delegated powers be granted to Planning Officers, in conjunction with the Chair, to submit the Local Impact Report to the Welsh Government and report retrospectively to the Planning Committee.

 

Upon a vote being taken, it was unanimously

 

RESOLVED that delegated powers be GRANTED to Planning Officers, in conjunction with the Chair, for submission of the Local Impact Report to the Welsh Government in relation to DNS applications for wind turbines.

Minutes:

Consideration was given to the report of the Service Manager – Development & Estates.

 

The Service Manager advised Members that the Appeal had been withdrawn, however, the Enforcement notice had not been withdrawn and would remain in place.

 

RESOLVED that the report be accepted and the information contained therein be noted.

8.

Enforcement closed cases between 22nd August 2022 to 26th October 2022

To consider report of the Service Manager Development.

Minutes:

Having regard to the views expressed by the Proper Officer regarding the public interest test, that on balance the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information and that the report should be exempt.

 

RESOLVED that the public be excluded whilst this item of business is transacted as it is likely there would be a disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

 

Consideration was given to the report of the Service Manager Development.

 

RESOLVED that the report which contained information relating to a particular individual be accepted and the information contained therein be noted.
