A simultaneous translation will be provided if requested. Minutes: It was noted that no requests had been received for the simultaneous translation service.
2.	Apologies To receive any apologies for absence. Minutes: No apologies for absence were reported.
3.	Declarations of Interest and Dispensations To receive any declarations of interest or dispensations. Minutes: The following declaration of interest was raised:- Councillor L. Winnett Item No. 5 - Planning Applications Report - Application No. C/2022/0114 - Glyn Milwr Stones Houses Blaina Abertillery NP13 3AA It was reported that Councillor Winnett would not take part in any discussion or vote.
4.	Areas for Member Briefings and Training To discuss any areas for members briefing and training. Minutes: The Team Manager Development Management reminded Members of the Member Briefing and training sessions scheduled for October and November 2022.
5.	Planning Applications Report PDF 2 MB View the background to item 5. To present applications for consideration and determination by Members of the Planning Committee Minutes: The Chair declared an interest in the following item and took no part in the discussion, the Vice-Chair took the Chair for this item only. The Team Leader Development Management reported an error on page 33 of the report, the second sentence of point 7.3 should read:- “The principle of the development could have been made acceptable subject to the number of caravans being reduced and other conditions relative to drainage, restriction of commercial activities and commercial vehicles on site and ecology enhancements”. The Committee noted the amendment. Application No. C/2022/0114 Glyn Milwr Stones Houses Blaina Abertillery NP13 3AA Retrospective application for extension to existing travellers' site to accommodate an additional 5 pitches including hardstanding, parking, toilet, fencing and extension to access drive. A Member made a proposal in favour of the officer’s recommendation, the proposal was seconded, and it was therefore unanimously RESOLVED that planning permission be REFUSED.

To update Members in relation to planning appeal and related cases Minutes: Consideration was given to the report of the Service Manager – Development & Estates. RESOLVED that the report be accepted and the information contained therein be noted.
